Former GUNS N' ROSES and current VELVET REVOLVER guitarist Slash is collaborating with actress Gina Gershon on material for Gershon's debut album, tentatively due in late 2003/early 2004 through an as-yet-undisclosed label.
Gershon, whose new movie, "Prey for Rock & Roll", closed the San Francisco International Lesbian & Gay Film Festival last week, is also said to be working with Linda Perry, the PINK producer and former 4 NON BLONDE who recently wrote and produced tracks for CHRISTINA AGUILERA.
Gershon's music will be a darker hue than PINK's, with tastes running from "almost country to hard rock," she told the San Francisco Chronicle. "But definitely not pop. I don't do pop." |
