IZZY STRADLIN Makes New Music With Ex-GUNS N' ROSES Bandmates
Former GUNS N' ROSES guitarist Izzy Stradlin is contributing to the songwriting process for the new band formed by his ex-GN'R bandmates Slash (guitar), Duff McKagan (bass) and Matt Sorum (drums), according to www.snakepit.org. More than 40 songs are said to have been completed for the as-yet-unnamed project, which is still on the lookout for a suitable lead vocalist. "The hard part is finding a singer," Slash is reported to have said about the ongoing search, which has included auditions by ex-BUCKCHERRY frontman Joshua Todd and current NEUROTICA singer Kelly Shaefer, among others.

Although Izzy is said to be involved in the writing process for the group's upcoming debut album, he will not be touring with the band, who are likely to recruit a session guitarist (possibly McKagan's LOADED bandmate Dave Kushner) for all live appearances in support of the CD.
