Happy New Year! A look back at 2023
Here are some of the Guns N' Roses events that occurred in 2023:

January 22nd: Axl spoke and performed November Rain at Lisa Marie Presley's memorial service held at Graceland

February 15th: The music video for November Rain passed the two billion views mark on Youtube. It was the first music video made before Youtube existed to hit the one billion views mark back in July 2018, and now less than five years later it passed two billion (A billion is one thousand million).

February 19th: The #43 car at the Daytona 500 featured a Guns N' Roses paint job. It was driven by Erik Jones for the Legacy Motor Club team.

February 21st: Guns N' Roses announced their 2023 Tour. Starting in the Middle East in June, continuing to Europe before heading to North America and ending in October (this would later change as shows were added).

March 3rd: The Glastonbury Festival announced that Guns N' Roses will play at the festival on June 24th.

March 13th: Axl joined Carrie Underwood on stage at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, CA to duet on Welcome To The Jungle.

March 30th: Guns N' Roses is announced to be one of the acts at thew new Power Trip festival taking place in Indio, CA in October. GN'R will play at the Empire Polo Club with Iron Maiden on October 6th.

April 2nd: Slash performed as part of a tribute to Lynyrd Skynyrd guitarist Gary Rossington at the 2023 CMT Music Awards held in Austin, TX. Slash, along with ZZ Top's Billy Gibbons, Paul Rodgers. Chuck Leavell, Warren Haynes, LeAnn Rimes, Cody Johnson and Wynonna Judd, performed "Simple Man" and "Sweet Home Alabama".

June 1st: Guns N' Roses begin their 2023 tour with a show in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates at the Etihad Arena. Bad Obsession, Pretty Tied Up, Down On The Farm, T.V. Eye (sung by Duff) and Anything Goes were added to the 2023 set lists.

June 24th: Guns N' Roses headlines the Pyramid Stage at the Glastonbury Festival in the UK. Dave Grohl joins the band to perform Paradise City.

June 27th: Show in Glasgow, UK at Bellahouston Park. The show was originally part of the 2020 tour, then postponed multiple times. Axl thanked the fans for being patient and waiting all these years for the show to finally happen.

June 30th: Show headlining BST Hyde Park in London, UK.

July 22nd: The last show on the Middle East & Europe leg is in Athens, Greece at the Olympic Stadium.

August 5th: The North American leg starts with a show in Moncton, NB at Croix-Bleue Medavie Stadium. Carrie Underwood is the opening act.

August 18th: Guns N' Roses performs their new single Perhaps for the first time during the show in Pittsburgh, PA at PNC Park.

August 21st: Very rainy show in Boston, MA at Fenway Park. A torrential downpour occurs during the show. Before the rain, Chrissie Hynde from the Pretenders, who opened the show, plyaed harmonica on Bad Obsession.

August 26th: Show in Nashville, TN at GEODIS Park. Carrie Underwood performs Paradise City with the band.

September 21st: It's announced that the postponed St Louis show originally planned for September 9th, has been cancelled.

October 6th: Guns N' Roses headlines the Power Trip festival in Indio, CA. Iron Maiden is the other act on the same stage.

October 11th: The show in Phoenix, AZ was moved to the Talking Stick Resort Amphitheatre because of the MLB play offs.

October 14th: Show in Seattle, WA at Climate Pledge Arena. Mike McCready of Pearl Jam joined the band for Paradise City.

October 16th: Show in Vancouver, BC at the BC Place. Originally this was supposed to be the last show of this leg. Earlier during the evening, Duff joined opening act Alice In Chains to perform Rooster with them.

October 20th: Duff released his new solo album, Lighthouse.

October 24th: Show in Salt Lake City, UT at Delta Center, Without Melissa who is not present due to being sick.

November 1st & 2nd: - GN'R plays at the historic Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, CA.

November 5th: The last show of 2023 is in Toluca, Mexico where GN'R headlines the Hell And Heaven Open Air held at Foro Pegaso. Again, Melissa is absent.
