More tickets for the June 23 concert go on sale at 5 p.m. today
Additional tickets for Guns N’ Roses’ June 23 concert at Ford Field go on sale at 5 p.m. today, promoters have announced.
The new tickets, which will go on sale through Ford Field’s website, were opened up after production plans for the concert were finalized. Additional tickets, priced $49.50-$253.50, are now on sale.
Alice in Chains will open the Detroit concert, which kicks off GNR’s run of summer shows. Lenny Kravitz will open shows outside of Boston and New York City, promoters announced today.
The GNR tour marks the hard rock outfit’s first run with original members Axl Rose, Slash and Duff McKagen since the early 1990s. The band headlined last month’s Coachella festival in Indio, Calif., and played a series of well-received warm up gigs in the days leading up to the festival.
GNR isn’t the only commitment on Rose’s plate these days; he’s also filling in on vocal duties for AC/DC on the band’s current tour. A Detroit date — a makeup concert from AC/DC’s nixed March concert at the Palace of Auburn Hills — is expected to be announced soon. |
