TICKETS for the Sydney show of the upcoming Guns N' Roses Chinese Democracy World Tour sold out in 30 minutes when tickets went on sale this morning.
With 14,000 tickets snapped up within half an hour, a second show was added shortly after for June 24 at Acer Arena.
"The interest has been phenomenal,'' said promoter Paul Dainty, Chairman of Dainty Entertainment, adding that the Melbourne and Brisbane dates had sold out as well.
"We think when we look back on 2007 it will be a real rock n' roll highlight.''
After a 14 year break from Australia, the Gunners will be back on local soil when they arrive in Perth on June 10 and will travel the country until June 25 – whereupon they will head to New Zealand. |
