Former Guns n' Roses guitarist Slash (born Saul Hudson) was arrested in Los Angeles on Saturday for allegedly assaulting his live-in girlfriend, according to the media-relations office for the West Hollywood (Calif.) Sheriff. Police arrested Slash, 34, at his recording studio without incident after his girlfriend filed a formal complaint for assault. The woman, whose name was not released, claimed the rocker assaulted her July 19 at the La Parc Hotel on West Knoll Drive in West Hollywood. He was booked at the sheriff station on spousal-abuse charges and released on $50,000 bond late Saturday evening. The guitarist, who left Guns n' Roses in 1996, now heads the rock outfit Slash's Snakepit. |
