Tracii Guns mentions GN'R + GN'R mention in National Post + VR sign publishing deal
Tracii Guns was asked if he had been contacted by GN'R regarding the lead guitarist position and his reply was:

I sent Axl and email. I let him know I had a year off and That I would be willing to go kick some ass with him. I got no reply :(

The new arena is home to what may very well be the best team in hockey. And the mayor is singing the praises of Guns N' Roses.

"The energy in this city is unsurpassable," Anne Marie DeCicco says, listing off the big name acts that have come to play the London's sparkling arena, the John Labatt Centre, including Shania Twain, James Brown, Cher and Axl Rose's band, whose song, Welcome to the Jungle (complete with video of Rose in a Knight jersey), opens each game.

VELVET REVOLVER have inked a worldwide publishing deal with Chrysalis Music (administed by Mushroom in Australia and New Zealand).

As previously reported, VELVET REVOLVER will tour Australia and New Zealand for the first time in 2005.

The band will begin the tour in Christchurch, New Zealand on February 19.

As members of GUNS N' ROSES, Slash, Matt Sorum and Duff McKagan toured Australia in 1993. Slash returned in 1995 with SLASH'S SNAKEPIT.

VELVET REVOLVER lead singer Scott Weiland has attempted to tour Australia on three previous occasions with his former band STONE TEMPLE PILOTS but every tour was cancelled due to his drug problems.
