Matt is on the front cover of the UK's Drummer magazine. There's an interview with him where he talks about his beginnings in Hollywood, Guns N' Roses and Velvet Revolver.

He says that in VR, he's more involved in the songwriting because of writing his solo album.

About GN'R he says that Axl wanted to go down a differant road than the rest of the band - GN'R wasnt Pearl Jam or Nine Inch Nails. They all recorded a bunch of songs in 1994 and sent them to Axl but he rejected them.

Axl tried to get Matt into the Chemical Brothers and Massive Attack and although Matt likes them it wasnt GN'R. He says Axl was worried and felt threatened by new bands like Nine Inch Nails emerging around him.

This week's UK sales of "Greatest Hits". It's still #1 for the second week with 49,000 copies sold:

ALBUMS
49000 Guns N' Roses
44000 Anastacia
33000 Prince
