VR to play shows in August? + Weiland court update
There's an article about Weiland in the Maxim presents BLENDER (magazine) August 2003 Issue.

Here's part of it where they mention possible shows outside of the USA:

---

Band representatives say Weiland's recent arrest will not impede plans for a Velvet Revolver overseas tour. Tentative live shows in Japan and Germany in August will showcase a set of original songs, including "Set Me Free" (found on The Hulk soundtrack), the first song the band recorded together. So far, Velvet Revolver have amassed 55 songs that have already been recorded and await Weiland's vocals.

---

Velvet Revolver's singer Scott Weiland was due in a Burbank, California, court to face drug charges on Friday (July 11th), but the case was continued until July 18th because he's still in rehab in Florida, according to a court clerk.
