Axl Rose tweets support for Trailer Park Boys plea for tax credit
The Trailer Park Boys' efforts to draw attention to potential cuts to Nova Scotia's Film Tax Credit program are getting support from some international music stars.

Earlier this week, Finance Minister Diana Whalen openly mused about cutting the tax credit. According to Whalen, it costs the government $25 million and she says most of the companies that receive the credit do not owe taxes in Nova Scotia.

To raise awareness about the cuts, the Trailer Park Boys posted a video online in character saying they worry that if the program is cut, they'll have to move away.

Some international music heavyweights posted some thoughts on Twitter about the potential cuts.

Guns N' Roses frontman Axl Rose posted a link to a story CBC News wrote about the campaign.
