GN'R in Finland
GN'R played their first of two shows in Finland on June 5th.

To add some Finnish flavor to the show, Dizzy played Hanoi Rocks' "Dont Ever Leave Me" as his solo before The Blues. Hanoi Rocks was a big influence on GN'R and remains one of the biggest bands that have ever come out of Finland.

In addition to that, Robin played "Finlandia" as his guitar solo.

For those that know their Finnish classical music, "Finlandia" was originally composed by the Finnish composer Jean Sibelius in 1899-1900.

The Finlandia Hymn is a very well known piece of music in Finland and Robin has been performing the piece at certain concerts as an intro to Sweet Child O' Mine. As reported earlier, he was inspired by Joan Baez's version of the hymn. You can read more about the different versions at wikipedia.

It was very nice of Robin to play this for the Finnish crowd since the song means a lot to the Finnish people.
