Random news (GN'R bootleg to go gold? + November Rain + Matt Sorum + Buckethead)
"Live in Tokyo" DVD said to be the first bootlegged DVD to go Gold in the Netherlands. Here's a small mention of the problem with bootlegs:

Commercial-director Bart Engel of Universal Netherlands told CARP-magazine in their 2/11/'05 issue that 20.000 copies of the Guns N' Roses live in Tokyo-DVD have been scanned and bootlegged. 'In a little while, it will be the first bootleg-DVD to get a gold status, then Hans van Breukhoven (owner of a chain of record stores) can present a Golden Falcon to Guns N' Roses with press all around to get attention for this huge problem'. Engel is hoping for a more decent approach by record stores, to ban illegal dvd's from the stores.

November Rain was at #2 on VH1 Europe's list of the 100 Best Power Ballads.

Velvet Revolver drummer Matt Sorum appeared with his mother on Indie 103.1 FM last Saturday, November 19 (Matt's birthday). A webcast of this event could be seen through 6767.com.

Buckethead's new album "Kaleidoscalp" was released yesterday. The 13-track album is available at online stores such as Amazon.com.
