GN'R made Q magazine's list of "50 Biggest Bands Of All Time". The list was based on biggest album, biggest headline gig, weeks on album and singles charts.
#15: Guns N' Roses
Ever excessive, GN'R capped all the drinking, drug-hoovering, brawling and urinating in aeroplane aisles by issuing two albums, Use Your Illusion I & II, on the same day in 1991. Axl Rose's current line-up of hired hands can still fill arenas on curiosity value alone. His Chinese Democracy opus has been in the works for nine years now.
Biggest Album: Appetite For Destruction, 15.6m
Biggest Gig: Cannstatter Wasen, Stuttgart, Germany, 27 May 1992, 75,000
Weeks on UK album chart: 379
